Abstract :
This article proposes an implementing solution for an emergency system on RDS platform. Based on RDS protocol standard (EWS - Emergency Warning Systems), a scheme for transmission of emergency messages in a group specific to the protocol is modeled. On transmission we are using a specialized encoder for RDS transmissions, with a group packaging according to encoder specification, and on reception we are using an FM signal analyzer, which has an incorporated RDS encoder in order to allow the analysis of field-level messages.
