Abstract
A rigorous method for the analysis of low-level operation of injection phase-locked quasi-sinusoidal high-order oscillators is presented. It rests on the technique of secondary simplification of perturbation theory in order to provide the shortened differential model of the driven oscillator. As an example of application, a double-tuned negative-resistance oscillator is investigated, and the results of exact and approximate theories are compared
