  • Abstract
The aim of this paper is to describe some applications of the finite element method (FEM) to the computation of the transmission-lines parameters. The FEM is utilised to compute the line constants even when the geometry and arrangement of the conductors forming the line are nonsymmetrical. A comparison between analytical and numerical results is discussed for some practical examples
