Abstract :
Academic researches and companies have developed active noise-reducing headphones using expensive digital signal processors. This work develops a modified feedback active noise control algorithm to develop an anti-noise headphone with a microcontroller. The system uses one general microphone per ear cup, offering a cheaper solution than existing noise-reducing headphones. Experimental results illustrate that the proposed approach reduces noise very well.
