Abstract :
Some practical alternatives for minimizing steady-state errors when tracking various types of inputs with digital servo systems are presented. Error correction is accomplished by either feedforward control action(s) or by manipulating the reference (setpoint) input, using the steady-state error values expressed as functions of controller gains. Results obtained analytically are verified experimentally using a microcomputer-controlled motor drive system
