Abstract :
This paper presents an approach towards building a flexible modeling and simulation environment with database technologies. The main problem of defining complex systems by component based simulation systems is solved by a set of predefined microfunctions, similar to modern microprocessor architectures. The execution order and additional parameters are also stored in a database
