Abstract :
Theoretical and experimental researches of field emission from silicon cathodes with DLC coating has been conducted with taking into account influence of accumulation layer on the Si-emitter boundary with DLC layer. It is shown theoretically that presence of emission 2D-electrons from accumulation layer leads to appearance the additional resonant current maximum. The resonant and nonresonant emission in dependence on DLC coated cathode parameters has been investigated.
