Abstract :
WBK-BVS in Dortmund is the only authorized testing station in West Germany for firedamp and dust explosion protection of group II (surface) equipment. In addition to testing and certification activities, and collaboration in national and international committees for the unification of standards, research work is also carried out. In this paper, the authors present some of the results of this research
