Abstract :
Design of a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) is presented in which the RIV method is incorporated to overcome the stability problem of the FLC. To use RIV for designing the FLC, two related problems should be solved in advance, which are to limit performances of all the states and to select the appropriate RIV rates. Such problems with the RIV method are solved by an adaptive law and a sliding mode controller scheme with simulation experiments
