Abstract :
The investigations of the resonance structure, which consists of a section of a circular evanescent waveguide with the coaxial metal-dielectric element inside it., allow us to find out the series of characteristics for this structure. Such resonator which was called as a waveguide-coaxial resonator (WCR) has small sizes, reasonably high values of eigen Q-factor and the possibility of mechanical frequency tuning in wide ranges. Besides. that, in such resonator it is possible to change a: wave resistance for the H and TEM oscillations through the choice of a diameter of the inner metal rod. This property of the WCR will be used in solid oscillator of the microwave oscillations during the optimization its parameters. In this paper the possibility of design of the solid oscillator working at the H or TEM modes of the WCR has. been shown.
