  • Abstract
    K. Kanatani (1985) and T. L. Huntsberger and S. N. Jayaramamurthy (1987) proposed a feature-based method for the determination of the optical flow field. They reported some successful results. However, the results were obtained under very strong assumptions or in a theoretically incorrect manner. The authors propose a theoretically correct feature-based method to determine the optical flow field, and evaluate the performance of several sets of feature candidates
