Abstract :
This paper presents the design and development of a device, called the MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) Inline Transposer, which uses an MC68HC11 microcontroller. The device is used in conjunction with electronic musical instruments and follows the MIDI digital interface specifications and is intended to transpose musical notes from one key to another in real time
