Abstract :
The proposed method for designing amplifiers whose performance matches the design criteria (as measured by SPICE simulation), uses a reduced version of the Gummel-Poon static model of the transistor in the forward active region to model the VBE vs. IC relation and the IC vs. IB relation. A reduced version of the Gummel-Poon small signal model is used to produce Av and Rin constraints
