Abstract :
The direct modulation of oscillators in an active array provides an efficient means of communicating over millimeter-wave carriers. This paper describes how various forms of digital modulation can be applied and gives details of the development of a 28 GHz transmission system designed to operate at 2 Mbit/s using frequency shift keying
