Abstract
This paper summarizes the general requirements of the monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) for satellite communication applications. It also describes a space qualification procedure being implemented on a 0.25 μm MESFET MMIC process as well as a 0.15 μm InP HEMT process and a few examples of the MMICs developed using these processes
