Abstract :
There are various Radio Access Networks (RANs) in Heterogeneous Wireless Access Networks (HWANs). Mobile Hosts (MHs) connect to Base Stations (BSs) of these RANs. In addition to "RAN selection", "BS selection" has important role in utilization of the network and energy consumption of MHs. In this paper, By combining Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) as a subjective method for RAN selection and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) for BS selection, the high utilization of HWAN and high satisfaction of MHs are achieved.
