Abstract :
In this paper, the design of fuzzy model based controller for Single Input Single Output (SISO) spherical tank process and Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) Quadruple Tank Process is presented. To get the T-S fuzzy model, a set of linear fuzzy local models are combined using a fuzzy inference mechanism. Each fuzzy local model represents a linearized model corresponding to steady state of the nonlinear process. The efficacy of the proposed control scheme, suitable for all the operating conditions is demonstrated by conducting simulation studies on the above said processes. The servo and regulatory performance of proposed Internal Model Control Proportional Integral (IMC PI) controller has better performance than the different tuning methods in terms of settling time, ISE, IAE and ITAE. The model is developed by using MATLAB 7.6.
