Abstract
An electromagnetic flowmeter is a flowmeter that has many features including high accuracy and no pressure losses. However, it is difficult for conventional electromagnetic flowmeters with wetted electrodes to measure the flow of liquids such as low-conductivity fluids, high-concentration slurry fluids and adhesive fluids. An electromagnetic flowmeter that uses non-wetted electrodes has been developed to deal with this problem. A larger variety of low-conductivity fluids can now be measured especially by improving the resistance to noise. It is accomplished to investigate the characteristics of flow noise.
