Abstract :
Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) symbolize difficult distributed systems that contains wireless mobile nodes that can freely and dynamically self-organize into arbitrary and temporary, "ad-hoc" network topologies, allowing people and devices to flawlessly internetwork in areas with no pre-existing communication infrastructure. Video transmission in this area is became popular and useful technique. Basically Routing protocols groups under two categories like Proactive and Reactive. In Proactive or Table-Driven Routing Protocols, each node continuously maintains up-to-date routes to every other node in the network. Routing information is periodically transmitted throughout the network in order to maintain Routing Table consistency. In Reactive Protocols, a node initiates a route discovery throughout the network, only when it wants to send packets to its destination. This paper introduces WEAC-VBS-O Protocol which belongs to Reactive protocol category. In this work WEAC Protocol with VBS Selection algorithm is discussed. It provides better result for video transmission.
