Abstract :
The problem of blind channel identification in SIMO-OFDM systems is considered. It is shown in this paper that the SIMO-OFDM channel is identifiable, given only a received data set obtained over one SIMO-OFDM symbol duration, by exploiting the finite alphabet property of the input data. A maximum-likelihood (ML) method for blind channel and data identification in SIMO-OFDM systems is developed. Finally, we demonstrate the validity of the ML method by computer simulations.
