Abstract :
The authors discuss the use of an artificial neural network (ANN) in implementing a fuzzy logic controller (FLC). The transfer of the expert knowledge of the FLC to an ANN, and increasing its capacity by online learning, make it possible to realize intelligent control systems. The authors present a neural network architecture capable of modeling an FLC whose inputs are the state variables of a dynamic system and whose outputs are control signals
