  • Abstract
    In this work, we present the simulation of propagation of a pulse and the effect of distance attenuation in the pulse, based on MATLAB. Specifically present the results in the propagation of a Gaussian pulse and its effect on the diffraction spread in the different distances, the pulse corresponding to a HeNe laser. The results show the effect of diffraction on the propagation of the pulse, this information is useful for example for teaching purposes.
