Abstract :
Transmission coupling efficiency in a CMOS compatible metallised nanofocusing coupler is investigated using finite element and transfer matrix simulations. Structural optimisation and coupling performances into an silicon-on-insulator and two nano-slot plasmonic waveguides are presented.
