Bohai Rim region is one of the most important economic regions. Its economic status has been improved. And its industrial structure has been optimized. But the second industries are still based. Meanwhile, the three provinces and two cities in Bohai Rim region have different industrial layout. The development among them was not balanced, and the similar industrial structure still exists. Especially in the secondary industry, such as equipment manufacturing, iron and steel metallurgy, petrochemical and high-tech industries, the balanced, is widespread. Coordination of regional economic development and rational distribution of industry is the only way to achieve the sound development of regional economy, which needs to continuously strengthen the central city´s leadership and coordinating role, to adjust the industrial structure continuously, to change the growth mode and to promote rational distribution of industry, finally to improve the quality of economic growth.
