Abstract
Summary form only given. Dusty plasma bubbles (DPBs) with dust depletion through pulsed laser ablation and self-organized dust acoustic waves (DAWs) both are associated with large dust density fluctuations and travel downward in 3D dust clusters suspended low pressure rf discharge. We experimentally investigate the dust particle dynamics in traveling DPBs and DAWs in a rf dusty plasma system through video microscopy. The spatio-temporal modulation on dust dynamics by DPBs and DAWs, how the dust dynamics maintains the shape of traveling DPBs, and how it affects DAWs are presented and discussed.
