Abstract
A unified induction learning algorithm is presented for clinical decision making. It depends on the rough set theory, and accepts the information system in tabular form. It deals with the uncertainty of clinical measurements and generates decision rules supported by reasoning. An example of successful application is given. The proposed inductive algorithm is particularly useful for reasoning from qualitative or imprecise data
