Research on the interactive evolution mechanism of manufacturing and service industry based on dissipative structure theory

The Brusselator model of interactive evolution between manufacturing and service industry was presented based on dissipative structure theory. This article discussed the arguments such as the relationship of manufacturing and service industry, the development order, their proportion and so on by the analysis of the model. The main findings were as follows: (i) Logistics, marketing, maintain and other traditional producer services would counteract the total development level of service industry. But the producer services which could help add intrinsic value to product such as R&D, management consultation and others could promote service to develop.(ii) The interactive evolution of manufacturing and service industry was an alternative process priority.(iii) The service scale should be consistent with manufacturing scale, manufacturing efficiency, catalysis efficiency of manufacturing to service, promotion efficiency of producer service to manufacturing and market efficiency. And it should be kept in finite interval. (iv) In the recent years, the proportion of service in GDP continued to decline, the main reason was that our market efficiency was still too low. The key of developing service was to increase the market efficiency.
