Abstract
In the present study, the adaptation behavior of users to a different level of tele-operation support has been examined to evaluate the effect of an intelligent support system during the skill development phase. The primary concern is to examine the dependence of the operators´ training procedure under situations where different levels of support function are present. The constraint-based support utilizing virtual force feedback has been devised with a different level of enforcement for the tele-operation system. The results of the experiments have shown some insights concerning the operators´ behavior in a tele-operation task under different support conditions
