Abstract :
Quasi-simultaneous recognition of plural targets composed of the ball, the goal, and the robot, and motion control of the robot using this proposed recognition method were performed. We employ a genetic algorithm (GA) to execute the recognition process using a model-based matching method, and motion control of the soccer robot is performed using the position information of targets obtained by the recognition result. Finally, the experiment is performed to show the effectiveness of motion control of the robot based on quasi-simultaneous recognition.
