Abstract :
The paper provides an unequal error protection (UEP) scheme for multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) wireless systems over fading channels. Turbo coding and space-time processing are employed to support transmission and reception for the data with different importance or priorities. It is shown that the proposed scheme allows for the increased system capacity and/or the improved quality with low complexity and high flexibility.
