Studies on university students who trading stocks in Beijing

There are students who trade in the stock market, which is no longer a fresh phenomenon. Several years ago, the media, schools, the education circles pay a certain degree of attention on it. But they always focused on the phenomenon itself and judge the merits and demerits. Now we have our focus on motivation in this research. We use a questionnaire to collect information and do descriptive and qualitative analysis with statistics and econometrics methods. After investigation, we found that today´s college students have become more rational when trading stocks and their theoretical level of investment and risk awareness increased. In view of the benefits of trading stocks and the trend of social development, we believe that the behavior should be encouraged, but we should find an approach to guide students to be more rational when doing investment.
