Title :
A Bell operating company´s perspective on optical networking requirements
Author_Institution :
Bell Atlantic, Washington, DC, USA
Abstract :
As demands on our networks increase, we must understand the advantages and implications of deploying new technologies in our core infrastructure. The technology must be both functionally and economically viable for us to deploy it. In order to determine the deployability of new technologies we consider several issues relating to our network infrastructure
