Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a novel vibrometric imaging technique for two-dimensional and real-time vibration measurement. Our system consists of two major components: 1) projector of moving stripes to encode vibration amplitude and phase into time-varying intensity of light, 2) correlation image sensor (CIS) to select a single frequency component and decode its amplitude and phase distribution in a single frame. We show the uniqueness of the modulation/demodulation scheme and apply it to the visualization of various stationary and nonstationary vibrations.
