The problem of energy Shortage has been the bottleneck hindering sustainable development of economy in China, and its impact is extending into all areas in social life. But at the present time, our study on energy economic early-warning is in its beginning stage, this article sets out from the perspective of supply-demand early-warning and establishes the index system of energy economic early-warning in China from 5 aspects: the overall balance of energy supply and demand, the structural balance of energy supply and demand, energy external dependence, balance between energy and economy development, balance between energy and environment development.
