  • Abstract
    Optical transversal filter structures with Bragg gratings on planar lightwave circuits introduces new versatility, in that arbitrary tap weighting coefficients and arbitrary frequency characteristics can be expressed, such as in multichannel selectors of multiplexed input channels. The growing importance of these photonic processors is attributed to intrinsic properties such as high time-bandwidth capability and high functionality
