Abstract :
The advent of high frequency, high power switching devices has resulted in widespread application of power electronic converters for energy conversion and motion control. The use of high speed microcomputers and advanced software architectures has simplified control system design by permitting complex computation and decision making capabilities in the fields of real time motion control. This paper reviews the current technology, and presents the future trend in power electronic systems.
