Abstract :
Digital communication using multiple-input- multiple-output (MIMO) has recently emerged as one of the breakthroughs in modern communication. Without being the final judge, in this paper we provide some draft comparative analysis of BER (bit error rate) performances and computational complexities for both - iterative (we will refer this algorithm in text as a "turbo") and newly proposed non-iterative (denoted here as "single-shot" (SS)) algorithm based on Bayesian rule. According to BER simulation results and computational complexity analysis the proposed single shot receiver seems a good alternative for implementation in newly developing B3G/4G communication systems together with the previously proposed turbo-receiver, MLD (maximum likelihood detector) or QR- MLD (matrix quick decomposition) approaches.
