Abstract
A full-bridge, zero-voltage-switched, current driven DC-to-DC converter is modified by adding a fifth switch to achieve constant frequency, pulse width modulated (PWM) control. The analysis of this new converter is presented. It is shown that by using the added switch for PWM control, improved line and load regulation are achieved over the previously implemented variable frequency scheme. To verify the analytical results derived, computer simulations were carried out, and these agreed with the predicted control curves
