There are several problems in the trade in services in China, such as small scale, trade deficit and unitary structure etc. In order to overcome them, we should optimize the export structure of trade in services. Through analyzing the export structure of the trade in services by using gray connection method, the article shows that the export variations of insurance, transportation and proprietary product have more effects on the whole trade in services. The optimized direction of the export structure of the trade in services in China should be focused on following three aspects according to the analysis results: enlarging export share of products which connect more closely with the whole trade in services; enhancing the technique content of the traditional service export products; developing the new service export varieties.
