Educational representation of electric power distribution networks

Benchmark models of electric power distribution networks have been developed by CIGRE Task Force C6.04.02, which is affiliated with CIGRE Study Committee C6. Among the networks proposed are North American and European versions of low-voltage distribution networks. The networks are representative of typical designs and are well-suited for benchmarking methods and techniques for integrating distributed energy resources. In this regard, the networks can also serve as a reference in education.
