This paper addresses the use of space time adaptive processing (STAP) for clutter and jamming mitigation in a carrier based airborne early warning (AEW) radar system. A UHF, low PRF radar serves as a baseline for the radar parameters used in this paper for system requirements and performance comparisons. Performance comparisons of alternative STAP architectures supported by broadband measured antenna data are shown
