Abstract :
We have been studying the development of a standing-up assistive device for the elderly. In this paper, we analyzed the standing-up motion and calculated the force and angle necessary for standing-up. Moreover, a pull examination was conducted and standing-up force was measured. From the comparison the calculated force and the measured force, we conclude that necessary force and angle was obtained.
