Abstract :
A base transient overdrive design concept is proposed for a C-BiRCMOS logic driver. A new delay model and an area minimization method is described. The C-BiRCMOS circuit is optimized to operate faster than CMOS and conventional BiCMOS drivers for supply voltages down to 1.5-V
