Abstract
This paper proposes a method for detecting edges of objects from 2D-camera image and reconstruction of the 3D-information by using a single movable camera. An adaptive VS-differentiator is used in this study for the edge detection. Apexes of the object are detected by checking the pixel layout patterns. Assuming that the camera can be moved correctly in workspace, the 3D coordinate values can be estimated by the recursive least square method. By experiment we show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
