Abstract
This paper illustrates the impact of four wave mixing (FWM) in multichannel system. It has been shown by simulative analysis that FWM penalties can be suppressed by increasing dispersion in the fiber. Moreover FWM impact remains constant with particular value of dispersion only if the effective length of the fiber is increased.
