Abstract :
Proportional-integral-derivative (PID) Controller is widely used in the industrial process control in the face of environmental uncertainties. However, it is very difficult to achieve an optimal PID gain with no experience, since the parameters of the PID controller has to be manually tuned by trial and error. This paper proposed a tuning of the PID controller using gradient-immune algorithm(GIDE) which has function such as diversity, parallel computation, adaptation. The performance of PID controller using GIDE can be tuned for the required response. To improve this approach, simulation results are compared with Opt-aiNet and Clonalg.
