  • Abstract
    We study the multiuser relay network and propose a distributed power-beamforming optimization algorithm to optimize the relay revenue and the utility of each user pair at the same time. The distributed manner of this algorithm is due to the pricing mechanism that provides the possibility of matching between user utility optimization and relay revenue maximization. Our algorithm consists of a power allocation stage and a beamforming stage. In the former stage, the relay controls the power of different users via pricing. In the latter stage, beamforming vectors are updated to maximize the individual SINR based on the network duality derived for the multiuser relay network. Simulation results show that higher relay revenue and user utilities are achieved by our power-beamforming algorithm than by the compared algorithms.
