Abstract :
This study proceeds with its development on the JADE platform, follows PASSI methodology in MAS analysis and design, and utilizes topic maps for e-learning (TM4L) to construct topic maps. During the service execution period, should a provided service failure occurs, the agent will automatically select a service with the higher evaluation value from the candidate service list to proceed with the service backup mechanism through parameter conversions. If the substitute service contains a semantic discrepancy, a light-weighted ontology will be used, which means a topic map conversion will take place. Finally, this study will design an experiment to verify the viability of the backup mechanism, and conduct the evaluation and discussion on the system´s efficiency.
