Abstract :
It is a common sense that people should concentrate while they are learning. However we cannot sustain our attention and be motivated for a long time in the learning task. In this research we use a pet type robot as a motivation for student to learn. The fashion technology is an obstruction for students in their learning task. But if the robot is not vivid enough students will not treat the robot as a learning companion. In this study, we take human-robot-computer interaction into consideration. By the technology of software agent, we construct a new learning environment. The aim of the environment of the environment is to make student learn with motivation and students can sustain their attention. From the analysis of our experimental result and interview, we found that the agent made the learning flow smoothly and students sustain longer attention than usual. We shall have some suggestions for the researchers who design human-robot-computer interaction in a learning environment.
