After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

The positive and negative impacts that 2010 World Expo has on the real estate industry in Shanghai are analyzed in this paper. Researches on how to reduce its negative impacts and benefit the economics and society are further studied. According to the analysis of negative impacts, some countermeasures are put forward for the sake of benefits to the development of real estate industry in Shanghai.
